Ah, I remember those days where I’d write. Where has those mindless dreaming gone?

+72

I know how fast it’ll all pass,
But this is more than
I could ask for
Time could run
Like water
Nevermind, we say
It’s still another day
Yours, mine
Everything to ponder
To dream and catch
Passing stars
We’ll stare in wonderment
Muse on endlessness
Bottle it all up
For memory’s sake;
+72,
I’m willing to take.

Surf's up!

The (somesay) surf capital of the world, home of O’Neil - Santa Cruz.

This is actually pretty much what we saw besides a bit of the town center, for lunch cos we were super behind time in getting to LA. It reminds me of what places like Interlaken, Switzerland and Queenstown, NZ would be like in winter - people wearing wetsuits around town, grabbing lunch and hitting the waves after, just like people wearing ski/boarding pants and oversized skijackets and boarding boots, etc walking around town getting burgers and pretty much living in their snowgear.

We’ll be back! There’s apparently alot we didn’t see while we were there.

Super troopers.

So I guess with every trip there’s always an epic story, let’s just say ours was filled with so many we wouldn’t know where to start. There was the flying roaches, the carparks of doom, the endless rain, OUTSOURCED, tai di with accents, really awesome food…and the list goes on.

I’m glad the troops came to visit and I’m glad we had such an awesome time. We make a good team eh? ;) Time to think and plan for the next one! (I still LOL when I think of some things that happened on the trip. Hurhur.)

Missing my troops heaps already.

Made.

A party isn’t one without good company. The epic week was just that - an awesome time with friends and people you once called ‘family’. The city is semisortof the same but not? It’s a funny feeling being back there after so long, kind of surreal. We did all sorts of random, just like the old times. Rocked it like it was 2010. The beach, the grass, home, movies, food. Doing what we do best; hanging out.

Miss us and our tan lines.

Sometimes I just wonder where time flew since our fateful encounter in Falls Creek 2008. Me with my horrendous goggle tan line and your super-fail pair of gloves and ski pants (or track pants?!). It amazes me that it’s been (almost) three years and all the places we’ve been to, and how much time we’ve spent wandering the world together.

Here’s to more (:

Better together.

Do you ever wonder about those people who are in your life one day, and then out the next? Those friends you thought you would share a porch with and have over for dinner when you turn 60? Sit around and talk about the times where you cooked 5 packets of maggi mee after a run and ate out of a mixing bowl together, or did midnight runs to random chinese take outs just because we wanted to freeze and get a bowl of hot soup, grab a skateboard and ride down slopes at 3am, play boardgames until everyone falls asleep, spend the entire night writing essays and running to uni after to meet the dateline? To those friends whom I thought we had this, I miss our friendship and who we were together, but thankyou for those memories. To those friends that I still have, you’re awesome and here’s to more crazy awesome times
