ANDREA + RJ

This post has been a long time coming but it is never too late right? Andrea and RJ kindly brought me with them to Beijing where Andrea had lived and worked before. It was a bit of a challenge to get everyones dates to line up - but if you want something to happen it does! I even had not one but TWO helpers for the few days that we were shooting. These are just a few of my faves from the huge collection of epic shots we got over the 3 days or so! Enjoy!

POINT OF VIEW

Re-looking at my Japan photos from a year ago, I can't wait to go back (especially for some epic snowboarding) for food and more exploring and more food. Found more gems in the sets, this is why I put off editing till maybe 1 or 2 years later (excuses). This has got to be one of my favourite sets, I think.

LAURA + IAN + NATALIA

I've photographed Natalia ever since she was little and it was my absolute pleasure to have had the chance to capture these moments for two very dear friends of mine. I am so glad they are getting married in just under a month, and cannot wait to continue journeying through life with them. I believe that it was never pure coincidence that brought Laura back into my life in our uni days, only God could have orchestrated something as perfect as this.

Life definitely works in funny but wondrous ways.

This is what I love about Hong Kong. You can walk 200m down the road from your house, and find a perfectly quiet spot where people feel comfortable to be photographed, AND IT WOULD LOOK AMAZING. Laura and Ian flew up to visit and we spent a couple of half days just walking around, chilling, and getting some no-frills engagement shots in. These guys are one of the best(est) coffee-conversation buddies we have. Raw and honest, just how I like my friends and pictures.
